The Agricultural Credit Policy Council (ACPC) has received official clearance from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) to conduct the 2024 Small Farmers and Fisherfolk Indebtedness Survey (SFFIS).

The SFFIS is a nationwide survey led by ACPC that aims to understand the borrowing situation of small farmers and fisherfolk across the country. It will look into how often they borrow, where they get credit, how they use financial services, and what challenges they face in accessing affordable financing.

Through this survey, ACPC will assess whether its credit programs and policies are truly helping smallholders in agriculture and fisheries. The results will guide improvements in ACPC’s initiatives and contribute to government planning for the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries (AFF) sector.

Survey data will be collected from April to August 2025, with results expected by December 2025.

ACPC and PSA encourage all selected respondents to actively participate and provide accurate information to support the goal of expanding access to affordable credit for farmers and fisherfolk.
