THE TERMS OF REFERENCES OF ONE OF THE POSITIONS (GRAPHICS) INCLUDE BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO :

  • Create graphics and layouts for website/social media content, publications, brochures, reports, advertisements and other print and digital media.
  • Assist in editing videos for ACPC events and activities and for website and social media content;
  • Assist in managing contents for the DA-ACPC website and social media accounts;
  • Prepare news articles, success stories and feature articles for the ACPC newsmagazine, website and social media platforms;
  • Maintain and update the electronic archive of ACPC research outputs and other information materials in the Library information system;
  • Assist in the conduct of ACPC credit program orientations and activities;
  • Handle the dissemination and circulation of ACPC publications and other information materials;
  • Assist in the conduct of ACPC’s media relations activities and media events such as press briefings, radio and TV guesting, among others, to promote ACPC plans and programs;
  • Provide secretariat support to the ACPC Governing Council and Management Committee meetings;
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

THE TERMS OF REFERENCES OF ONE OTHER POSITION (WRITER) INCLUDE BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO :

  • Prepare news and feature articles for the ACPC newsmagazine, website and social media platforms;
  • Copyedit and proofread all content for ACPC newsmagazine, website and social media platforms;
  • Prepare speeches, messages, agency briefing materials/presentations;
  • Handle the lay-outing and publication of ACPC’s research outputs, monitoring and evaluation reports, annual reports, and other publications;
  • Develop, package and publish other ACPC information, education and communication (IEC) materials such as brochures, primers, posters, tarpaulins, audio-visual materials, etc.;
  • Handle the conduct of seminars, workshops and dialogue sessions among farmers, fishers and other stakeholders to assess the status of rural, agricultural and fisheries financing;
  • Handle the implementation of the activities of the regional, provincial and municipal Agri- Credit Desk information network.
  • Handle ACPC’s media relations activities and conducts media events such as press briefings and radio and TV guesting to promote ACPC plans and programs;

PROJECT ASCEND

  • Coordinate with partners, service providers, and field focals on the project plan, activities,  reports
    • Evaluate funding request and prepare documentary requirements for the release of  financial assistance according to project work plan
    •  Prepare proposal/s relating to conduct of capacity building activities and assist  project’s capacity building service provider/s and ACPC Project ASCEnD team in  conducting training needs assessment, and training/workshop
    • Collate and integrate field monitoring reports
    • Prepare progress reports
  •  Assist in the implementation of the monitoring framework and documentation of the  research project
    • Prepare baseline study design, proposal, and coordinate and organize conduct
    • Coordinate, organize and lead the conduct of field monitoring/validations
    • Lead the documentation of the project, i.e. processes, etc
  • Administrative and secretariat support to the project documentation of the  research project
    • Maintain a filing system of printed and electronic reports, re: monitoring and  progress report; loan application, disbursement, and collections; capacity building;  and other related project activities
    • Prepare presentation materials
    • Document proceedings of meetings, workshops, and other related activities

    • Design, develop and install/deploy web/mobile application /software/database systems;
    • Conducts users orientation or training on the developed web/mobile application and information systems;
    • Run and monitor developed systems and test stability and reliability on new existing systems for the purpose of bug reporting, correcting/fixing errors, testing across multiple browser forms, isolating areas for data structures being maintained, improvement and general debugging;
    • Conduct vulnerability testing and other necessary measures for highest security and standards to ensure that systems, procedures and standards are strictly implemented;
    • Resolve problems with the developed systems;
    • Assist in the preparation and documentation of system requirements and specification, user’s manual, technical documentation and change request;
    • Support users on change control and system updates;
    • Establish/deploy a database tracking and recording systems of all monitored disaster incidents from its initial stage until terminal stage of report preparation and dissemination; and

    1. Coordination with the DA-Regional Field Office and Provincial/Municipal Local Government Units on all activities in the line with program implementation;
    2. Identification of lending conduits;
    3. Conduct of orientation meetings with prospective lending conduits;
    4. Conduct of validation of prospective lending conduits;
    5. Conduct of credit program planning workshop for eligible lending conduits;
    6. Field validation on the status of projects financed under the program;
    7. Monitoring of loan disbursed and collections of participating lending conduits;
    8. Prepare of programs status reports;
  • Facilitate loan documentation at the conduit level;
  • Conduct pre validation of potential borrowers, if necessary;
  • Conduct periodic field monitoring of the status of the lending conduits and projects financed;
  • Establish and maintain system filling of printed and electronic reports on loan disbursements and collections;
  • Respond to queries on program details (e.g., features, policies, procedures, and documentary requirements);
  • Provide administrative/secretariat support to meetings/seminars/workshops in line with program implementation;

  • FINANCING COMPONENT
    • Coordinate with AFC and KFI on activities relative to the project such as but not  limited to coordinating with farmers and their organizations/associations,  identification and clustering of eligible farmer-borrowers, conducting orientation meetings, and assisting farmers in their loan application
    • Assist in the conduct of pre-validation and farm validation of potential borrowers
  •   CAPACITY BUILDING COMPONENT
    • Assist project’s capacity building service provider and ACPC Project ASCEnD team in  conducting training needs assessment, and training/workshop of farmer-borrowers  and their oragnization
    • Organize meetings, consultations, workshops and other collaborative activities to  capacitate farmers and their organizations/associations engaged in the project  
  • DOCUMENTATION AND MONITORING
    • Field monitoring of the status of the farmers financed, their projects, and others and  submit corresponding report
    • Maintain a filing system of printed and electronic reports, re: monitoring and  progress report; loan application, disbursement, and collections; capacity building;  and other related project activities
