DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develop training modules and serve as resource person on business development marketing and other related competencies to improve the business management and systems capability of participating financial institutions and beneficiary organizations of ACPC credit programs;
- Undertake data gathering in the conduct of research activities related to the preparation, development and packaging of Institutional Capacity Building (ICB) programs and project proposals for funding support by the ACPC and/or local/foreign donor institutions;
- Identify potential local partner institutions for ICB programs and maintain an information system on ICB institutions/programs serving as baseline data;
- Conduct research and dissemination activities on information related to the funding and program implementation guidelines and requirements of donor organizations for ICB programs/projects;
- Draft and/or review ICB program development and packaging guidelines and make appropriate recommendations;
- Conduct monitoring and files validation of assigned ICB activities/projects;
- Assist apex organizations and farmers organizations in preparing institution building proposals for funding by external agencies;
- Undertake field validation/assessment of proponents for ICB projects/activities

THE TERMS OF REFERENCES OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO :
- Conduct of orientation activities particularly on the introduction of ACPCs Capacity Building Program for Small Farmer and Fisherfolk Organization (FFQs);
- Conduct of Training Needs Assessment (TNA) to identify the organization’s, operational and financial weaknesses and determine the appropriate trainings thereof to address these weakness;
- Facilitate the submission of the necessary documents required under the Program and prepare evaluation report and corresponding budget thereof for approval;
- Develop training modules for the following fields of competencies like simple institutional capacity building methodologies;
- Manage the schedule of trainings and other related ICB activities and provide support to ICB seminars and workshops and also act as alternate Resource Person in the conduct of trainings;
- Provide necessary coaching and mentoring to officers and staff of Farmers/FIsherfolk Organizations in relation to strengthening their recording, bookkeeping, budgeting, inventory management, internal control system, audit and other operational controls to safeguard their agri-related ventures;
- Undertake field monitoring activities to validate the progress of the ICB interventions provided;
- Evaluate, refine and finalize the agri-loan proposals or simple business plan relative to loan fund request from ACPC lending programs; and
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned
