The DA-ACPC showed its support for the Land Bank of the Philippines’ Digital Inclusion Caravan entitled “Bilis Ipon” last April 18, 2024 in Nueva Ecija.

Ms. Rachel Bustamante of the ACPC Monitoring Division read the ACPC’s Message of Support on behalf of Executive Director Jocelyn Alma R. Badiola.

“LANDBANK has been a steadfast ally in our quest for agricultural development. Together, we’ve witnessed billions of pesos worth of loans being extended to farmers and fisherfolk, empowering them to expand their operations, increase productivity, and improve their livelihoods,” said Exec. Dir. Badiola in her Message. “From agricultural production loans to post-harvest facilities financing, these loans cover a wide range of needs, ensuring that farmers and fisherfolk have access to the capital they need at every stage of the production cycle,” she added.

Department of Agriculture Undersecretary Mercedita A. Sombilla also delivered her Message of Support, welcoming LANDBANK’s programs and emphasizing their impact in attaining food security and increasing agricultural productivity.

The Bilis Ipon caravan was attended by more than 70 farmers from the area.
