The Department of Agriculture – Agricultural Credit Policy Council (DA-ACPC) has partnered with Agrilever to bring digital innovation to rice farming through the integration of Agrilever’s Digital Transformation Platform into the Palay Yield Enhancement Program (YEP Palay)—a special credit facility under the AgriNegosyo Loan Program.
YEP Palay offers rice farmers a comprehensive package of appropriate technologies and accessible financing to boost productivity, sustainability, and economic resilience in farming communities.
This new collaboration aims to enhance the delivery of financial services, agronomic support, and program monitoring under YEP Palay by incorporating digital tools into DA-ACPC’s operations.

Agrilever’s platform will leverage satellite data, credit scoring, and loan monitoring systems to streamline access to financing and ensure effective utilization of loans. Key features include geo-tagging of farms and the delivery of real-time farming advice—covering irrigation, planting, and harvesting—directly to farmers via their mobile phones.
The partnership was sealed through a Memorandum of Agreement signed by DA-ACPC OIC Executive Director Ma. Cristina G. Lopez, OIC Deputy Executive Director Magdalena Casuga, Agrilever President Ruel Amparo, and CEO Ann Mayeen Magno. Also in attendance were Ms. Joan Basay (DA-ACPC) and Ms. Dwayne Salazar (Agrilever).

This digital leap marks a significant step toward modernizing Philippine agriculture and empowering Filipino rice farmers with tools for long-term growth.
